When you do Solo Mining, if you find a block (s), the whole block (s) is yours. If you don't, you get nothing.
Luck is the main factor in Solo Mining, when you have good luck (<100%), you are on fire and make a profit. When your luck is over 100%, you have bad luck and lose money. Sometimes, you hit the block at luck 1%, sometimes it takes you over 600%.
